The DESSO Targets have been fulfilled by adopting the following principle solutions:

1. Wide and closed side casings, transversally subdivided.
   The casings are arranged “outwards” which means no lost cargo or passenger capacities

2. Minimum one engine compartment is dry and functional after any DESSO damage

3. The spatial arrangements are laid out for easy and sustainable fire fighting and for easy and safe evacuation

4. The abandon ship arrangement can be used for “float off”, for “helicopter lift”, for davit launching or for conventional raft launching
