For the DESSO Requirements “stay upright and afloat” and “sinking upright”, the chosen solutions are of “forgiving” nature that will require no action from the crew.

For the events of less serious nature, as for survival of the ship point of view, the designs for “safety by action” are dominant.

On the “incident trigger levels”, suitable routines and training on all levels and for all involved categories are suggested.
